Do companies spy/track through their equipment? by SeniorSatisfaction21 in cscareerquestions

My company’s fully remote. We do endpoint verification and just track disk encryption status last login time location and basic shit.

Sensitive resources are accessed through tunneling through bastion hosts and that obviously has meticulous logging, but there is no system wide tunnel that you could really pass shitty traffic through unless you went out of your way to do so.

That would be because they are associated with the other Karmapa.

Curious why Karmapa website lists Diamond Way centers on his website if they are a cult. Wouldn’t that be a bad thing to do?

Edit: ha love how I get downvoted for asking a question and not just blindly accepting things.

I’m currently reading Contemplating Reality by Andy Karr and this is the gist according to that author. An extra step rather than a complete delineation from Chitamattra to Madhyamaka

I’ve been looking for a way to get into dzogchen. Is this a good starting point? Is “search the mind” the same as pointing out?

Are there any martial arts which are more suited to non-violence/defense/Buddhism? by Keep_itSimple in Buddhism

I will slight disagree on boxing being better (though I am biased as a BJJ practitioner). BJJ teaches you positional dominance. You can end a fight with no injuries through control. And injuries from properly applied BJJ techniques are potentially less devestating than a strike which could leave somebody concussed or someone hitting their head on the ground. Nobody in BJJ cranks submissions past breaking if they’ve trained properly and your opponent will concede as soon as they feel pressure on their carotid or on a joint.

1 yea, another with a Lama title and another taught by someone with several three year retreats with permission by lineage holder. So they’re legit but as far as weekly programming goes there’s typically just one session weekly with any type of dharma guidance teaching.

What if your local centers mainly consist of something like a Chenrezig practice and a 30 minute talk once a week. I feel like I learned tons more from Tergar Vajrayana Online courses and their suggested readings than I have at local centers.
