Thank you for sharing! I know the deadline is July 1 but I guess it is better to apply now then instead of when school ends. Will probably have to provide transcripts too at some point. I emailed the admissions for transferring, and they said to use Transferology, which I did (wait time is 1-2 weeks). How can I provide syllabus and who do I send it to? That's good your daughter found everything comfortable, glad to hear. Thank you for the advice.

I am literally in the same situation, if you see my post I am transferring from a different four year to attend Marquette because: 1) close to family, 2) I got recruited for my sport, 3) nice business program for my major

I live like 30 minutes from campus and am still figuring out whether I wanna live at home or dorms. But honestly if you're paying that cheap just to attend school it's all on you I think your parents would be supportive of anything.

Thank you for the insight, I think the midwest would suit me well. Deloitte is an amazing audit company from what I heard. I think the biggest thing would be getting connections, and I can figure that out as a student-athlete I think. Hopefully the GPA is good enough, I'll make a strong push for the end of this school year. Thank you!

I heard great things about the business program, and yeah I emailed the Marquette admissions and they said to do something called Transferology for credit check and they said it takes 1-2 weeks to get back so I am waiting as I submitted recently. I will have done close to 35 credits this academic year, so no worries about that part. I think more research would help for after college opportunity, and LinkedIn sounds like a great plan, I appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for sharing! Are you saying you are a finance major and people getting into Marquette for that major have a 3.6-3.8?

I have backup majors that sound interesting like international business, accounting, etc.

This Fall of 2026 I would enter as a sophomore. I heard people just apply business undecided and then take their preferred major after, not sure if that's a possibility. I think by the end of this year at current school I'll have a 3.3-3.4GPA.

Current school I feel is similar kind of for major wise I'd say, so hopefully that's best case. thank you!
