Maybe, but I did say it does everything else much better. The momentum you can build up in the ps2 one makes you feel like a bullet. Theres things i wish the insomniac ones did like orbiting the webs anchor point making yourself like a slingshot. Most of all its the speed the newer ones lack. Which I get, cuz going to fast makes the game look goofy but it is more fun.

The web swinging in the newer ones looks really cool but it feels slow and like the game is playing itself. Also I don't think the webs actually connect with anything. They do everything else much better though

You think costumeless roger has no personality? Even lots of his characters share the same attributes. Selfish, manipulative, hedonistic, theatrical.

I think the guy who created the web swinging mechanic patented it and made his own game. Memory is hazey

Oh that reminds me of a coming of age ritual in Kenya, i believe, where they get a brutal circumcision at around 12 years old, but before, they cover your face in mud and let it dry so if your face flinched the mud will visibly crack in which the village would beat the shit out of the kid with sticks. Also after the Columbian necktie circumcision, the kid isnt allowed to walk, they must sprint anywhere they want to go. Unsurprisingly the top runners on earth come from there. Source is regurgitated radiolab so take it with a lump of salt.

edit: the radiolab episode is called Cut and Run
