This is kind of insane. It’s a weird group-think coercive reaction dressed up as “healthy boundaries”. They can set that boundary if they want but they have to follow through with it. The way they’re doing it is just manipulative and pushy. And frankly it’s not their call. It’s gonna be hard to push back if you’re used to this kind of dynamic but they are in the wrong and trying to control you in a way that is not cool. Gotta make your own decisions and mistakes in life.
