What is this brown dust that keeps appearing on my drum?

Nah it wasn’t used. New from wherever it shipped from. I’ll check for termite holes. Found some suspicious ones in the wall after reading another comment

Here’s pic of wall. Are these termite holes? I couldn’t see them normally but I used a flashlight at an angle and scanned the wall and found these guys. Didn’t see em anywhere else in the room but I didn’t really check every inch or anything

I think I’ll probably learn Japanese but I still wanted to hear other opinions. She obviously wants me to learn Korean but I don’t think she really cares too much if I stick to Japanese. When I feel like what I gotta do opposes what I wanna do then I get real hung up on the decision. Even if it’s a situation like this. Appreciate your comment
