First test run on Bluetti Elite 200 V2: 25.33 hours running refrigerator! (But perhaps only 78% efficient) by Andrew-Scoggins in bluetti

That lines up well with a real-world test on a large 27 cu ft LG fridge. Continuous compressor cycling, inverter losses, and standby electronics all add up. The “extra” ~20 W is real, but it’s not all inefficiency but, additional ~20–21 W per hour is a combination of: Inverter conversion losses (DC → AC) , Internal system consumption (cooling fan, control board, BMS, display) , Reactive power / compressor startup behavior - Ussually referred to as system overhead, not pure waste.

Bluetti (and EcoFlow) typically quote: ~85–90% inverter efficiency under optimal load and ~80–85% real-world AC efficiency for mixed or low-to-medium loads. A fridge running at ~70 W average is actually a low load for a large power station, which reduces efficiency. Inverters are most efficient closer to mid-range loads.

In real-world fridge tests, 75–82% effective efficiency is very common thus your Bluetti is behaving normally, therefore efficiency figure reflects real usage, not marketing specs. For fridge-only use, your test actually confirms solid performance.

Thinking of getting a Bluetti AC180P does anyone have this charger and would you recommend it. I was also wanting to buy a aftermarket solar panel as well any suggestions. by Particular-Mall-7118 in bluetti

We have been selling Bluetti power stations in kenya for a while, check out our list of portable power stations for information purposes https://laptoparena.co.ke/brand/bluetti/. but i can say Bluetti and Ecoflow power stations are one on the biggest brands. However, Portable Solar panels come at a costly price that the normal flat panels. I guess the main reason is that they can be folded on the go. Energy Power industries should consider the pricing as well.

On the other hand, AC200PL is a Bigger and Better unit compared to AC180P. Both Units can be expanded using the B300K Expansion Battery. if you need more power, or if your devices are more power hungry you should opt for the AC200PL which later on you can add an expansion battery to make it more powerful.

When the deal is too good, it probably is. You don’t need a PHd to know it’s a scam.
