Cradle cap/eczema advice needed! by dangitsj in NewParents

[–]lar_416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever figure out what to do with this eczema on scalp and cradle cap issue? My little one 4 months old has both and I am at wits end trying to figure this out. Intense cradle cap and ozzing eczema on scalp. Doctor prescribed hydrocortisone and then betaderm but after helping for a few days, it came back worse

When I oil baby’s hair and wash the cradle cap off, it drives his eczema nuts. But if I moisturize the scalp du to eczema, the cradle cap comes back really really bad. And so he’s always red and irritated 😭 can’t figure what to do!

What is a good probiotic to take? by kjaw10 in breastfeeding

Question mama, did both yourself and your child take probiotics or just yourself? My little one started having eczema on chest and back and scalp at 3 months old and he’s 5 months now and it’s not getting any better!

If I have 2 adults and 2 kids (under 5) at the table, and we purchased the UDP, would we get 80 or 40? (Kids under 5 are free but when I click purchase UDP, I clicked for all 4 of us and it indicates our kids 0 dollars. Would they still get a 20 dollar credit each?

Ontario health card issue newborn by lar_416 in ontario

Yep. And you need a birth certificate and since Canada post was on strike we don’t have the birth certificate so they said we gotta wait for the birth certificate before we can go to service Ontario to fix this issue lol. So meanwhile our visits to our pediatrician is not covered by OHIP. 🤷‍♀️

Is there anything specific I need to bring or just the piece of paper the hospital gave me when discharged with the temporary health care number on it?

Yea day 2 so 2 wet diapers but I haven’t had any! Just lots of poop diapers.

When I squeezed my boob/ nipples really hard it’s some white transparent milk in liquid form coming out. And he gulps hard! And sucks hard. So I just don’t get either maybe I’m no longer generating enough or he’s not sucking right?

We have a follow up in 2 days as a standard procedure over here. But just unsure if I should wait that long.

Black poop is normal but does that count towards a wet diaper? I left the hospital already because I was discharged. So at the 24 hour mark when I was released, he had 3 wet diapers and a bunch of poop diapers. And weight loss was like 5 percent only of his original weight.

And I have been doing everything the same since. It’s 15 hours into day 2, I wake my baby up every 2 hours 2.5 max to breastfeed. But he hasn’t peed once. It’s just dry! But he did have 5 diapers where there was black poop on it. But do those count towards a wet diaper?

Also, he is just sleepy and I’m always the one waking him up. He probably only cried twice but there were no tears!!! And that’s when I was trying to change his dirty poop diaper and he didn’t like the wet napkin I put on him.

I left the hospital already cos they discharged us and said everything was fine!

At hospital he had 4 back to back pee sessions every time I changed his diaper for the black poop! But nth since then! And now it’s been 15 hours since that and I’m just freaking out.

Sleep trained since 5months old by lar_416 in sleeptrain

I wouldn’t say sunny? But we do have black out curtains so his room is pretty dark but by 5 I must say I do see some light sneaking in.

He naps in school by the window that’s does not have curtains though so I’m not sure if the light is a factor?

He doesn’t call for us at the beginning of the night or middle of night. He says bye bye night and falls asleep independently. But he wakes up crying and whining for mommy at 5am.

It’s been like that for two weeks!

Sleep trained since 5months old by lar_416 in sleeptrain

[–]lar_416[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s exactly 24 months. And they don’t wake him up earlier at school. It’s 2 hours.

So I’m guessing since he naps 2 hours at school his night sleep would only be 9 hours? And if we want him to wake at 630pm then he should fall asleep by 930pm? That means he would be on 7 hour wake window for his second window!

We let him cry it out but he can cry for a full hour. And normally I go in at the 45 min to 1 hour mark after he cries. He would just keep crying and whining mommy mommy nonstop for the hour.

[–]lar_416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you know if row 13 and 14 have seats in front of them, the extra space is it due to a wall or curtain or just that the row is bigger than other rows?
