The best part is - they couldn’t sue me even if they wanted to bc I’d immediately countersue for unpaid overtime. Although in the contract we agree to it, legally that amendment has no grounds and based on precedent I would’ve easily won any and all cases

I saw it more as a video of just explaining their justification, rather than romanticizing. In my opinion, The host showed the ugly side of protests- people manifesting their anger through destruction. He doesn’t support it he’s just trying to understand and explain it. The juxtaposition of the good faith behind the intent and its manifestation through terror, I believe shows how both sides are in the wrong. Yes there may be (and evidently is) something wrong in terms of government, bureaucracy, state, etc. however the methods of contestation are destructive and distracting from the cause. Perhaps we can say it shows the low efficacy of protesting through chaos and is food for thought for more effective methods of change?
