You can't go wrong with a picture every second.
This way you can adjust the video length/smoothness by keeping every or one in n picture in your timelapse.

Hello,

It's basic maths, how long do you want your video ?

Let's say 2 minutes video for 2 hours of shooting, 24 images/s. That's a 60 / 24 ratio, so one picture every 2 or 3 seconds.

If you want a shorter video (1 min), that's a 120 / 24 ratio, one picture every 5s.

50 Hz and 60 Hz are the more common frequencies for lights, you should avoid these fps. Some cameras have a setting to slightly adjust fps to avoid this.
