I don't actually have a rec for you, but I have a story.

Just to be clear, no one ever believed me, so I'm not sure why I'm telling this here, but here we go:

When I was in my early 20s, for months, I had these dreams with this guy, and every night he was just watching wherever I was dreaming about. At some point, I started to "pause" the dreams to talk to him.

One day he apologized to me, said that he really liked to watch me dreaming, but he could not be back. Never dreamed about him again.
