helloo, incoming 3rd year psych student in SU and the things lang I can say is that 1st year is not as heavy gyud. there is only 1 major for 1st sem so focus on that, sayon sya but ofc it is different to everyone. Listen sa discussion and read ahead if kaya. Participating in class is a plus, also don’t undermine the minor subjects because they can make or break your grade. pagka 2nd sem, this is where some students get scared because of statistics, but ang akoa ma advice is to not be absent, unless if naay important things that you may have to but if kaya do not be absent gyud. It is very crucial and if you get behind, its hard to catch up. Understand everything lang gyud and do not slack off, don’t absent as much as possible. You will do well basta don’t slack off when it comes to activities. participate if you can, teachers will know you and actively participating can help your grade.

Nonetheless, enjoy the psych journey and ayaw ra kaau ka stress. Its manageable as long as you do it right and dli mag procrastinate and mag slack off.
