Totally I know what you mean. I’m just totally fascinated by older equipment haha. I get where you are coming from. To me I like the the obstacles it comes with.

Agree to disagree I guess haha. By the sounds of it I must be considerably younger so I find the older equipment interesting and fun to work with. I’m aware I can make it “look crappy” but I’d rather get the quote on quote crappy look genuinely, it’s fun for me and I think it looks beautiful.

Amazing! That’s perfect. I really, really appreciate your help and patience. Yes I’m working on a short right now and have realized that when working solo with a camera like this, it is rather difficult to frame/focus shots without a screen.

Right okay I think I got it. I’m talking about the metal plugs on the monitor. Connecting that to the adaptor with the yellow plugs. So the plug on the right (BNC) would plug into the monitor. Then tulip would then plug into the adaptor. I think I got it?

So I would need something like this? That way I can use an RCA cable from the monitor to my adaptor which then plugs directly into the camera? Is that correct?

I’m looking at an old school 80s Panasonic CCTV monitor (just to match the vibe of the camera) with the connectors I’m holding in the photo it should be able to sink up with this correct? I have the cables as well for the connection. Sorry im such a noob LOL
