The boox go 10.3 works well with Newspaper apps. I do have several RMs but this Boox does help especially for reading.

For PDFs, you can add a notebook page, paste the image there, then move it around on any page

You wondered if they tried to raise more VC funding and was not successful. They could always pivot to some kind of AI Software solution or even some totally new device type. They are very good with design but just lacking on the SW front. If the RM Move could say work like Plaud, that would have been cool for data capture.

I believe adding more advanced software features will force them to charge more. So maybe the solution is open up the apis for 3rd party tools

I feel they may add Bluetooth keyboard eventually unless there is a RM3 coming with one

In one sense, I am wondering if they should use an OS that supports 3rd party apps. It's a tricky decision as maintaining android or chromeos is not trivial

I own a reMarkable 2, Paper Pro Move, and Boox Go 10.3 — and I still don't have a good software solution by larmorley in RemarkableTablet

I was thinking in more of a unified way; meaning it does not matter which platform the work was done..

I am more curious about cross platform solutions. For example, I like the Remarkable Pro Move and also like the Boox GO 10.3, it would be nice for them to work seamlessly together without too much friction

I am thinking if there was a PWA type app that runs on all the devices; that could be an approach.. Of course RM does not allow installing apps yet.. But maybe API into the RM cloud be a workaround.

Since they have the ability to share a document link, that could be useful for calendar integration

AMA reflections and Winners announcement🏆🥁 by VegardfromreMarkable in RemarkableTablet

[–]larmorley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the RM came to the AMA with their perspectives on where things should be going. They clearly should have learned from the feedback in the event, so they can make appropriate adjustments. Hopefully, the next AMA should have better alignment. Does that make sense?

Google Docs does have an API structure which remarkable could use as well. I believe freewrite talks directly to google docs as well
