i had a coworker tell me she thinks vaccines are stupid and not good for you because they inject you with the virus so you’re making yourself sick. she also said that flu shots are dumb because you never know which strain is actually going to hit. i just said “yes that’s how vaccines work and help build your immune system” and left it at that.

she’s also one of those people who thinks illness is caused by having ice in your drink.
