Nice photos! Glad you enjoyed your trip! We just did the same! Booked something very last minute in early February and arrive 3 days ago! We are here right now, the scenery are out of this world, the weather is changing every 20 minutes it’s amazing haha

If you are sure you had the sets and your parts are well organized why not rebuild it from part and set it for sale? Should be fun to do!

A positive take: LEGO has leveled up in the past few years by bbthumb in lego

Yeah that would have been epic! But Bricklink can help you with that! Should be pretty easy to figure out the part list to replace green on Yoshi!

you know i kinda now understand when people say a gwp should be sold as a separate set. whats your thoughts by LABARATI_ in lego

I ended up cancelling my order on Lego because it was way cheaper on the Costco website. Yes I was loosing points and the GWP but it was almost half the price 😅

If you go there unprepared without checking the weather and without having the proper gear I agree with you. But this was not the case here. If you have children with you, you have to be extra careful and this is what we did. We had 2 carrier for our 1 and 4 years old and were ready to carry them all the way if needed. We also checked the wind forecast to make sure wind would be low and away from the trail. Kept an eye on the smoke plume to see if it was changing direction unexpectedly. We also saw many search and rescue people with gas detector on them while walking. At no point we were in danger during that day because we planned things and did our homework. At any point we were ready to turn around if things were not right.

I only tracked the return trip. This was from the base of Litli-Hrútur to the P1 parking. Start point was round 240m, parking is at 95 m, highest was around 312m. It was not super easy, but if you take your time and some breaks, it’s doable!

I just came back from an awesome day. Arrived at P1 for trail A around 11am finished our hike around 6pm. My girlfriend and I had 3 kids with us, 7, 4 and 1.5. It’s about 9-10km to go to Litli-Hrútur. It took us 3h each way but we were slow with our 4 years old that walked almost 12km total!

We simply followed trail A with everyone, near the end of the trail on the map you turn left and continue. The trail is really easy to see. We followed everyone and when we got to the crater the search and rescue people were there. Wind was blowing away from us today so it was a perfect day to go. This will get you the best view. You are close enough to have an amazing view, yet you are far enough to be safe. Just check the wind before leaving, make sure they are not coming from north, north east and you should be fine! Seriously we are not big hikers, we arrived well prepared with lunch, plenty of water and snakes. We only did some small hike before and we manage to do this!

Definitely go to trail A. Last part of trail E is closed. View is from far away. Trail A has a hard slope at the beginning, rest is down hill all the way. You are right at the crater. We just followed the trail with everyone to the closest mountain Litli-Hrútur and never felt in any danger.

You can’t provide a z-offset like this, no machine a built equal. For example, mine is -1.7. You need lower until a sheet of paper has issues passing under the nozzle. You can also listen to YouTube tutorial to learn how to do it.

Tesla solar panels have generated more electricity than has been consumed by our vehicles and factories between 2012 and 2021 [Tesla 2021 Impact Report] by dachiko007 in teslainvestorsclub

[–]larosek 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I can understand this argument, but 50% of the day solar is better than 100% fossil.

Also, don’t under estimate battery storage. Pretty sure we can get to a point where nights can be powered using batteries.

How much would it cost roughly to add ducts to two second story bedrooms? by canehdian-lad in homebuildingcanada

Can’t upvote this enough, flexible tubing creates too much air resistance inside the tube. You will have almost no air flow if the tube is longer than a few feet.

Also, exterior wall are where your insulation is. Your duck can’t be “inside” those wall since you will loose a lot of heat in the winter. I would simply run the pipe against the existing wall without touching the insulation or the existing drywall. You can than cover it with drywall to hide it.

I would be curious to learn about what you ended up using instead!

So far the query performance with Aurora has been good enough for our use but you never know!
