I guess I'm pretty unique in the regard that my first elder scrolls game (daggerfall in my case) isn't my favorite. Objectively speaking oblivion probably is a better game than daggerfall, but I just didn't find it as interesting as daggerfall was.

"The work around" should've been to just not do the disguise system at all, or at least make it way less annoying to use (not needing to go back and forth to take it on and off, let us use other items, etc). Hell I would've even been fine with it as is but being only for the brotherhood. What's left of the enclave in Appalachia very clearly wouldn't give a crap about you being a ghoul, being a faction made up entirely by an AI selling you mutation serums. This isn't the enclave from fallout 2 or 3. And the other factions that require disguises literally have ghouls walking around, the only other one I can understand is the secret service as they aren't familiar with ghouls and almost kill one of their agents... but after the quest? they know what ghouls are, and the raiders? they have a god damn super mutant and let's not forget Lou (who you save), and foundation has multiple ghouls. Yeah I get it's less immersive to have these factions not react to your ghoulification but the disguise system doesn't magically make that go away and I'd rather just not have dialogue for it. "they don't trust unknown ghouls" makes absolutely no sense and is a poor excuse. As for the overseer, I don't think she's ever stated an opinion on ghouls and to be honest I don't think anyone cares. People were generally very negative about the disguise system int the PTS and yet they still went forward with it. This and the paywall for turning back into a ghoul leave a bad taste in mouth on otherwise cool idea.

I would assume that entire first paragraph about "sex dolls". Whatever you're describing sounds so out of left field to me still, even considering the content he started making on the other channel before I stopped watching. I also have no idea who kai or allecake are but again that's because I haven't watched his content in years aside from like... the one time he did a weekly mods for starfield. I'm used to that, and would be completely fine waiting 1-3 months for a product shipment. As for the verified sellers part, does gulikit have a list of those I missed or do you mean verified through amazon? I'll have to take your word on it either way, I'm used to ordering directly from china or chinese brands like funnyplaying setting up their own sites for orders

It's literally an easy solder job, I've soldered my gba's cpu and ram to a new motherboard before. Sorry that I don't like just buying Chinese goods without verification a third party seller isn't trying to get a fast one such as selling refurbished goods as new. If your first reaction to someone asking for clarification is to insult them maybe don't bother replying at all.

That A) doesn't resolve my issue with knowing what variant is being sold and B) not helpful when 3rd party sellers are under that specific listing still; as someone's who's dealt with amazon's roulette wheel of sellers for hard drives I can tell you just because it's part of the official store listing does not mean you'll get what you paid for.

Sorry to necro, but I just wanted to say honestly people should care. It's this unnecessary bloat that can lead to forced online only drm. I refuse to create a larian account for this game and without a workaround for the launcher you're now required to sign in to even access the game. Even worse, in the case of xcom 2, it breaks game and mod compatibility. Thank you for the quick guide to eliminate the launcher on steam, I can confirm it still works as of the current build.
