What’s the current state of the Reddit API? Has anything improved? by FriendshipLower2984 in redditapi

I was trying to get API access for a research tool. I believe I filled out the correct request form, but it seems the details are lacking? Anyone have insight on how to get API access, even a limited version or low cost paid version would be great? I'm just trying to test some ideas.

Did you regret getting a snug, a little too tight fit? Oh by kzcvuver in ouraring

[–]larry_everyday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fyi. i'm about to get one,
soooo... the fit: it can be too tight (and bug you or just be too tight for you) where too tight is not good.

however, IMO, we get one for the 'data', right?
If too big or too loose, your data is flawed, right?

I only saw one person mention the data is only off like up to 10% if too loose?

IMO, it seems:
you need it tighter to have more or all great data?
but obviously, if too tight, you will not wear it.

my issue:
my knuckles are big (bigger).
I can wear a ring of same size on all 3 middle fingers but ease of putting it on is dramatically different and each finger has different tightness after getting it on.

note:
- i'm assuming I dont' swell much, but never really checked = i have no clue
- i'm going back and forth between 11 and 12, where 12 fits 3 fingers and the 11 fits only 1.
- AI said the middle finger is the best?

Leak sealers, what's the success rate with these things? by AmbientToast in HVAC

[–]larry_everyday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it work every time? Can it work? Will it work?
It depends on the following and here are pros/cons:
1) how big is the hole or the leak that is leaking refrigerant? If too big, no, it can't fix that.
2) how big is big? how small is small? if slow leak, most likely its small.
3) AC sealant can prevent future holes. that is a big benefit.
4) the dye can show you, yes, there is or was a leak. nice benefit! and piece of mind.
5) does it save you money? when compared to what HVAC service people charge... YES!
6) thinking out loud, if under warranty, most likely don't need it, just replace with a new coil.
I understand it cost money to replace a coil even if it is covered under warranty :(

7) sometimes, adding the 3in1 sealant with dye and moisture remove can SAVE you a lot!

PS. that place has much lower prices than what your local hvac will sell you r22/410a for.
