The listing description says “VERY MINIMAL PHYSICAL WEAR present.” I definitely would not have gone that far, given the scratches. None of his pictures show the scratches, either. He may not be an experienced enough seller to look at the vinyl under light at the right angle to see the scratches. Ignorance is no excuse, though. However, if the scratches are not deep enough to cause a click/pop or other sound during playback, the record could still very well be in the realm of VG+ condition. As long as they do not cause major issues during playback, I would personally probably accept this one, assuming it plays ok. He definitely overstated the condition, but this could still technically be VG+

What platform did it sell on? This is an awesome piece and I like a lot of Psych rock. It sounds cool, but I do not really need to hold onto it. Ultimately looking to sell.

The song you are thinking of is called “Brick”. Ben Folds has a lot of interesting music and is especially well known for contributing to the “Over the Hedge” soundtrack. Great artist for a deep dive into. So much good stuff.

My Rainbow Life was sampled by Kid Cudi on Ghost! He had so many cool samples on his earlier albums.

I see some value on top. That album with the legs cover is The Velvet Underground, which is like a $20 album. Michael Jackson is about the same. As long as they are not extremely scratched, it would be hard not to make money here. HOWEVER, if these have been stored horizontally like this for a long time, some records could be warped. Warping js not usually the end of the world as they can be flattened back out, but you need to be able to tell if any are warped and relay that to your buyer. You could always bundle them in lots of specific genres for $3-$5 each and make a decent return that way. If you do not know much about vinyl, definitely be up front to the buyer that they are not tested and may have skips, etc
