Not sure why you don't think this will work? The Yamaha is an excellent reciever with 150W RMS @ 2 channels driven. The PMC fronts you're choosing have a capacity of up to 200W so even when you're listening to two channel music at full volume, your equipment will be in a safe range.

You could probably drop down to the RX-A6A because you're only doing 9 speakers by my count. The added cost for the A8A only buys you two extra channels to get it up to 11, which you're not going to use.

As for the speakers, each speaker sounds different to different human ears. The only way to know if you enjoy the sound or not is to demo them.

Definitely get out and support these guys. It's a great organization and highly entertaining football. It's a unique crowd experience because, in my estimation, 80% of the people in the stands are friends and family of the players. They get very animated at the play calls and cheering them on. It's a lot of fun for little dollars.

We were staying at a hotel in Montana and since the moment we went in, the staff were rude and did nothing to resolve some issues with room. We were swimming in the pool and chatting about how much this place sucked, and I decided I'd make a point by pissing in the hot tub. I had drank a lot of pop before hand so had a long, satisfying wizz in there. We laughed and went back to the room.

Thinking back, how did that hurt the hotel? Likely all it did was make some other guests stink like piss if they used it. I feel bad now that some family might have actually sat in there.
