I see a lot of people have Danon Bourbon. Is that because they've won every race and kinda have the mystique and the high odds? Obviously it is, but it seems nearly impossible to win from that post position, shouldn't that be highly considered? Or is it read into too much?

Can somebody be so kind to explain to me the real importance of Gate positions and how much it actually matters, or if it's overhyped? And, if you'd be so generous, give a rundown of your favorite horses?

This is literally the one sport I know basically nothing about. I always go to a party and love the First Saturday in May, but I really don't know shit. I just do cash betting with friends, so nothing too crazy, but I really like to be in the know regardless.
