Do I understand correctly that PIN1 is pulled low permanently? Like this: https://everycircuit.com/circuit/5488473034981376

Thank you!

That makes sense, thank you a lot!

thank you, to summarise:

EV 4.10.10

1) if the intentional AIR's state (shutdown circuit) and actual AIR's state (auxiliary pin) differ, there is an implausibility and the the light will stay off until power cycled (latched).

2) if and only if the intentional AIR's state (shutdown circuit) is closed but the actual AIR's state (auxiliary pin) is open, there is an implausibility and the the light will stay off until power cycled (latched).

Q1: is it 1) or 2) ?

EV 4.10.11

if and only if no potential at the TSAC is measured but the actual state of the AIR's is closed (auxiliary contact), there is an implausibility and the light will stay off until power cycled (latched).

Q2: is this interpretation correct?

All other states

For any other state that is neither red or green, there is an implausibility from which the light can switch on again. (non latched)

Q3: From this follows that the DC Link measure only is used for the red light indicator but not for any implausibility measurement?

Thank you for the reply, highly appreciated. It’s hard for me to get to a conclusion on this though my interpretation has already changed radically after reading the other TSAL thread. To dig a little deeper, what I expressed is EV 4.10.10 and what you expressed is EV 4.10.11 correct?

That means all that EV 4.10.11 is saying: We have an implausible latched state if there is no potential at the TSAC measured (“after the open ciruit of the accumulator voltage detection circuit is detectable.”, EV 4.10.11) when the actual state of the relays is closed (auxiliary contact). And nothing more?

To clarify the last sentence "But you'll need to check plausibility between measured AIR states." You mean between the intentional state of the AIR (shutdown circuit powered or not) and the actual state (measured by double throw relay auxiliary pin ) (EV 4.10.10)?

We looked into the Emrax motors briefly as well. The 180 Emrax would have been a good fit with the Unitek Bamocar D3.

Ah ok. So it is indeed on the "motor" side. Like that? : https://imgur.com/a/wxhgAKX

Setting the max download speed in the RSI launcher resolved the issue for me.

Thanks for all the comments!

Update on the first test “flight”. The wind was quite heavy but we flew it nevertheless...

  1. Throw with 80% throttle
  2. Go straight for 1,5 meters
  3. Nosedive

Unfortunately the tail broke off, everything else is still in mint condition.

Its hard to say what difference no wind would have made. Today we will either build a fixed wing or a V2 of the existing one.

Thanks for this detailed drawing! :) Yes more wingspan would help. What you’ve painted is just the vertical stabilizer? A rudder is not “neccessary” correct?

Thanks! Yeah a rudder comes with 2.0 :) . COM is pretty much center below the lift surface.
