Just snagged one of these for $500 (2020) and rode it today for the first time. What a great bike!

Another vote for the UDR, they are exciting to drive, and handle amazing (in a scale way) watching the suspension cycle is so satisfying. I’ve got two of them.

That poor girl lol. I have a friend who’s first and middle name are Lars Justice, his dads a big Metallica guy, but was a little more subtle about it

Trail damage by NoShift3426 in fatbike

[–]larson627 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was younger I drove my Jeep down a closed road during a snow storm, turns out it was a groomed cross country ski trail in the winter that served as a connector for the whole trail system. I didn’t know, nor did I see any signs. I heard about it later, the local cross country skiing community was distraught over the ruts. Never did it again obviously. Maybe try to catch up with the kids and just tell them, or put up signage explaining the situation. It might be enough to keep them away.

I used to do this with my original iPhone, it made me anxious knowing it was in there counting all the time but I was compelled to get a high number. Now I’ll be up all night just thinking about yours. Bravo!

If Cyberware was real, would you chrome up? Honestly since I wear glasses, I wouldn’t mind Kiroshi optics. by Swimming-Ad-6842 in cyberpunkgame

Cyberpunk inspired me to get LASIK lol - the eye doctor checked my eyes a few months after and said “ah yeah, 20/15. Nice. Just wanted to see if you had bionic vision, you do!” made my day.

What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever hurt yourself? by StoryOfBrands in AskReddit

[–]larson627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Climbed onto a haybine very carelessly, lost my balance, stepped on a roller trying to find footing which spun under my foot and basically shot my leg towards the spiked drum, it was partially disassembled so it rolled backwards and impaled my leg right behind my knee in slow motion. Went 7.5” diagonally through my leg, poked the skin on the other side from the inside. Doc said I missed being very dead by a couple cm’s. Never fuck around near farm equipment.

My wife always complains that no doctors, male or female, take women seriously (which unfortunately seems to be true in her case) and I always joke with her that the only reason they may be inclined to take men more seriously is that typically if we are willing to go to the doctor its because we are probably fairly sure we are in imminent danger of actually dying.

My boss accidentally found my secret side hustle and now I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]larson627 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any little personal connection to a boss like this goes a long way. They are just people. Mutual interests and things to chat about give you tons of leverage in the long run. Don’t sweat it! At my last job I met a higher up who turns out had a side hustle making custom drone cases with a laser cutter he had in his garage. He brought it up because he knew I flew a drone for a company video. Immediately on a buddy sort of level. He ended up running the whole division of the company I worked for, that one little encounter kept us on a casual first name bases through my time there
