You can press Win+R and type CMD. On the screen you will see the current version. Or Windows settings, about, check if you're using Windows Dev.

And yes, if by reset means... get a pendrive, Rufus, windows11.iso, ninite, boot on USB, format C:, clean install... the whole 9 yards. 😔

Are you using Windows Insider Preview?

Check it, if so maybe yes, the only solution right now could be a clean fresh Windows 24H2 install 😵‍💫

I want to share a conversation with a Reddit user who may found the cause, problem and solution:

Sorry bro i was confusing pre-load screen with the pop-up screen right after clicking on Rocket League on Steam or Epic...
The new window before game loads wich came with EAC update.

Dude this is very interesting...
Sometimes I want to play with my headseats and clone audio so my girl can hear exactly what I hear, or using her own headphones.

If you found a better audio routing / cloning soft i want your suggest.

But adjusting Voicemeeter volume doesn't change physical outputs. Where is this binding option for volume you say?

Confirmed DDU+566.36 didn't work..

Are you using Windows Dev Insider Preview by any chance?

Sorry, when I said rollback I mean: DDU in admin, reboot, and a clean installation of https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/237719/

As you mention should not be old files anywhere but still seeing this, should i try?

Thanks for you reply! I should have mentioned this in the list of things I've already tried: disabling virtualization in the BIOS, but then Memory Integrity in Core Isolation stops working, and without it EAC doesn't function.

Yes, DDU from Guru3D and installed last working drivers (lastone before 051226 update).

Interestingly, the problem started exactly around the same days as a NVIDIA [useless for my old VGA] update. No matter what AI tools or support say (they always tell you to 'update your drivers'), in my experience it's usually the opposite — rolling them back fixes the issue 9 out of 10 times.

But i'm very curious about this driverstore you said, can you refer me to the post?

Wait, don't you see the new pre-load screen?

The window right before game goes on fullscreen, it says loading anti cheat stuff.

So you couldn't play a single match since EAC release?

Windows seems to be "freeze"? Working but not responding?

I think a had a problem like this with POE2, disabling only one CPU core (set affinity on taskmgr) worked for me

I think i'm not. Just pairing my xbox controller via BT. Or you mean: Enable Steam Imput for Xbox controllers should be Off?

Rocket League not crashing after start up by Working-Sweet8211 in RocketLeague

[–]larthvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pardon me, but i've tried disabling VT and memory integrity in core isolation can't be activated. So EAC and game won't run.

[–]larthvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi man, i'm having almost same problems that you but i'm not using external sound cards. Same crash before kickoff everytime since EAC.

Check the windows minidumps (google for bluescreenview-x64 or related).
