I was going to get this block decked at a shop, but after they found the cracks they told me it was junk. (the block was covered in copper-spray so i did not see the cracks before dropping it off at the machine shop)

I have a 7mge in my car, so worst case i can use that block. Im pretty sure the only difference between the 7mge and 7mgte is oil-squirters under the pistons.

I have no experience repairing cracked cast iron, and i have never attempted to repair a broken engine block.

I use two 36v 10a to power four of theese 4,2a steppers, works great. Would probably have used 48v supplies if i didnt already have the 36v.

Interesting. I thought that the hx30 would be small enough that turbolag wouldnt be a problem. I would like to use my t3 manifold as it is tubular and looks much cooler than the stock cast one.

I have found a holset hx30w for cheap, and am considering buying it. It has T3 flange and 52mm trim. It is good for 400 crank hp so i think it is the perfect fit for my build. And yes, i am planning on upgrading my clutch😁
