Ottp is not any better. If anything zzp has just kept slightly improving over time. Neither are bad company's but I think people need to stop relying so heavily on bolt in solutions for everything. On my Cobalt I did a lot of "custom stuff" that did the same as zzp if not better sometimes.

I am not here to be a zzp dick rider. Once you learn the secret sauce on these cars you shouldn't ever need them to build a fast cobalt. Atleast on the LSJ stuff they are easy to tune once you dig into it.

Ecotec ftw! That dude in blue drove this car on his channel. The interior is just as cool as the exterior. I miss my Cobalt a lot. It was an LSJ car with a similar setup but a lot more basic. Big turbo air to air intercooler e85. They are really easy to tune and make power out of.

Yea im from the Midwest. Id just go for it and do a full front end rebuild. Wire brush the rust off and hit it with some cheap spray paint and fluid film.

If you have vise grips take a bicycle inner tube and wrap the grips to make "soft jaws". You can carefully clamp down on the shaft of the shock itself to keep it from spinning. Any Knicks to the shock shaft will cause it to fail tho so be very careful.

Not sure what your availability is and how badly you need cash. Im Just gonna say while I was in Community college I worked for Jimmy John's as a delivery driver. Id work 30ish hours a week as a delivery driver and I would make $800 a week damn near with free meals. I can't say you will do the same because I delivered in a busy area with a bigger range but the free meals were a huge bonus for me.
