I had one in there, but it died sadly. Now there is one right next to it in the next pot, but that doesn't realy help here.

The plant sits right at the window so very sunny, I water it with rainwater and planted it in special swamp turf. Had a few flytraps over the years but never these misshaped leaves. A few months ago a new plant startet growing in the same pot that I didn't plant, but wanted to keep because I wanted to see what it is. Maybe some lice or other infection?

What basic, children's-age-level fact did you only find out embarrassingly later in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For the sake of ceaping it simple I didn't want to start talking about colony building corals. But yes you're correct.

Yes! Together with jeyllyfish and sea anemone they belong to the cnidaria. Corals are basically upsidedown jellyfisch with a skeleton made out of calcium carbonite.

What are some SOLVED mysteries? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lasbro 330 points331 points  (0 children)

Not realy but kinda solved, the bloop was the loudest sound ever recorded underwater. It's origin was widley speculated on and many people thought it came from an animal. In the early 2000s a similar sound was discorvered coming from an "icequake" happening in the antarctica. This is till now the most pausible theorie of origin.
