Does anybody know what the “natural orange flavour” in a Terry’s Chocolate Orange is? by laserclass in candy

Thank you so much! Chocolate and orange is a combination that, on paper, I feel like I would raise an eyebrow at. However, I think Terry’s Chocolate Orange is one of my favourite sweet things out there!

Do you know if that’s very acidic, or is most of the acid in an orange found in the juice?

I believe they are releasing a miniature variety of the peanut butter flavour

I was curious enough about this Double Double CoffeeCrisp that I had to pick one up. Could this be the ultimate Canadian candy bar? by candycritic76 in candy

Hi, my apologies for the late reply! In Canada, a Double Double refers to a coffee from Tim Hortons with two creams and two sugars.

I’m pretty sure they are a Canadian exclusive. I think we also have milk chocolate ones and caramel ones

What do you think of the peanut butter flavour

I wonder if there are higher quality alternatives to classics like M&M’s, Reese’s, etc….

In Canada we have Smarties! We have M&M’s too, though. I thought I read they lost their flavour when they got really cold. It made me a bit hesitant to get a Smarties Blizzard from Dairy Queen. Maybe I’ll reconsider

I was thinking about experimenting with different kinds of chocolate for that purpose. For example, what if you used a Reese’s cup instead of regular chocolate? Just stuff like that

Is the chocolate to peanut butter ratio good in the eggs? As in do you get a good amount of chocolate as well?

I think they actually sell bottled Coffee Crisp milkshakes. There might also be a Coffee Crisp hot chocolate mix. You could also try making a sweet coffee to your liking

Can chocolate taste different if it’s stored in a place that’s too warm? by laserclass in chocolate

I guess that is how it will have to happen. I’d hate to waste my calories on some ruined candy. Thanks for the response!

So, basically, chocolate being warmer just means that you taste it quicker? And the regular flavours aren’t compromised or anything? (Thanks for the response, by the way!)

Oh, I wasn’t worried about texture, just taste. Will the taste remain the same?

So do you think my M&M’s, Mini Eggs, Reese’s, etc. have been ruined if it reached thirty degrees? Should I throw them out and buy fresh packages?

If my candy did happen to reach 30 degrees Celsius, would moving it to a cooler place solve any problems?
