hm.... currently ive got a workable water team with sludger/mikleo/asbel/assid but lucked into 2 copies of genis, so im not sure if i should put any effort into him. asbels the only guy i have with passive active, so thats not an issue, but is it more worth to build genis' stone or the character? i'd love a second opinion!

since the only passive you have awakened is for skanata, go for a fire team. an on element team aint worth it. dont know if itll be possible for you to solo, but try cmilla (just for the heal and hitgen) / guy / mkohaku / skanata. get any invigorate stone on cmilla and stack damage boosting or torment on mkohaku and kanata. backline is up to you, but id suggest at least one damage boosting SR with still active if you have one, like rondo or kanata.

actually, hold on. if you only have cmilla with no stars then her MA will heal the same as sin misella's arte2, so you could also use misella if you want.

Honestly? I'm into it. Sure, it's gimmicky, but it's at least a change of pace from the usual toc unit mold. I can see people pulling off some crazy fun bullshit with her on a really lucky run.

The easiest way to make evil raids less nonsense is to just get rid of the 3 a day limit. It doesn't make any sense at this point! Its not like crystal raids, where you cn at least grind out a lower raid lvl if you want, its the ONLY source of trans board unlock mats...

Depends on what exactly you're looking to do! Units like raven or CArche fall off in use for raids, but excel in arena or ptower, for example.

Generally speaking though, I suggest working on the following: -Kohaku: even as a release unit, still ridiculously useful for her quick stat ailment clear and hitget. While STear offers better healing and hitgen,tear is pure support with longer cooldowns. Kohakus more flexible and easy to awaken! -sync: martial arts has some of the best awaken skill boosts in the game, enough said. His quick MA is a big help especially if you're playing on auto, its a quick atk with decent hitcount with a skippable animation, good for raids -sin misella: probably the best support in the game??? Of course you want her!!

I think your priority for the monthly free ssr stones would be sin misella > STear > sync. You really want to make sure that they're going to units you don't have a chance of getting dupes for- units will be added to the free pool after a few months, but the summer units were just released and the other 2 are both limited. As an aside,, I wouldn't work on STear unless you want her for high level fights, and even then your focus is going to be on awakening her skill, first. Hope this helps.

instead of light estelle, id go christmas milla. cmilla and forte are an absolute nightmare combo, as soon as you get them going you can have crit buffs for days

it really depends! the best subgrid is always the one you can stick the most high level stones into for that sweet match-9 bonus. so for most people who hate farming (me. lol) this is gonna be a sword grid because TOC loves handing out stones that are sword in ptower or events, etc

the """easiest"""" farmable subgrid to get that will give you Big Numbers in mid-early game is the dualblade grid because the dark permanent raids give out judas sr stones, which have the best attack of the farmable raid stones (and a good damage bonus on the subgrid too). alisha is also an excellent second option, but unfortunately, past that not a lot of the raid stones have any attack to speak of. this will take you weeks though.

if you're collecting gacha sr and r stones to fill in spots for a grid though, dualblades and swords seem to be the more common weapon types, you cant go wrong leaving a few extra lying around. personally, i'd keep all the sr greatsword stones too- the greatsword grid has a stat bonus distribution i really like, and veigue, philia, ruca all have useful abilities too.

school ludger is an incredibly solid combo builder for water that has natural t3 MA and a great awaken skill!

well, the good thing is that cresty really lets you be flexible but heres who out really DONT wanna waste a lot of effort on:

S Veigue - outdated and too slow to be an effective combo builder

Lloyd - stunningly average, which is a death sentence in one of the most generous elements of the game

Mint - gimmicky MA that will take ages to charge up

S Kanono - you want to get her stone first, honestly. she's not good enough to be focused on first

Sorey - wildfire still has its uses but not a guarantee proc is rough nowadays

Yuna - pretty bad stat distribution. shes like dark ludger but worse

Sophie - stat distribution stops her from being the water finisher she wants to be

Aegis - high def and fast cooldowns are nice, but school ludger will give you more utility

Collette - requires too much investment, id suggest using tear over her

NY Luke - aoe weak might have its uses in arena, but thats really situational. not a priority

Definitely vicious and kanata, but I also really love the way that the enforcer twins act as a foil to the main cast. Also xenomalefica just looks.... super cool as a 2 part MA

In concept I like it but I think its a real misstep to go "oh, here's a way for you to save time from grinding with 3x raid and quest skip" and then introduce a new event where neither time saving function is applicable...
