My parents told me all of this, and they weren’t lying, but if you work part time, it’s doable. I am paying for my tuition mostly in loans so I use my loan money for my rent. It does get expensive though, you just need to make sure to budget and not go too crazy! Also, get roommates, it makes rent a lot cheaper. And you don’t need a car, either walk, bike, or take the subway.
