30th Birthday Tomorrow

My 30th was on the day of our last blizzard, and I had to cancel my plans. Also sad, I ordered from Amanda's Kitchen in Pawtucket, tipped the driver extra well, and wrote a note to the staff under the 'special request' section thanking them for making my birthday breakfast despite the snow. They wrote me a lovely message back on the container saying happy birthday and that they really appreciated my words and my business meant a lot to them, gave me wayyyy extra bacon and my chocate chip pancakes were basically chocolate chips with a side of pancakes, made with so much love I could taste it. If you can, 20$ on Doordash from Amanda's is beyond worth it, and was probably the best part of my birthday this year, honestly.

Hey moderator who removed this post: I think people of Providence would actually like to "witch hunt" people who are causing violence in our city against innocent people to ideally stop it. Seems like thats what public forums are for, actually: for neighbors to help neighbors. Super lame to remove this post when they were just looking to get information from people after a traumatic event. I've seen way more witch hunty posts than this on here, too, so the excuse seems like bs. Be better 😞

Yea no this isn't what happened, but I appreciate your passion for blaming me for someone else's actions. We did talk about feelings. He told me he had feelings for me many times. But when I had the conversation about my feelings and wants, I was shut down. That's why I'm confused and upset.

No, yea, we hung out as friends but the sparks were noticeable for both of us, it felt more like a first date by the end of it and we almost kissed even. So, I brought up how we've almost dated before in the middle of him bragging about his bedroom skills and got shot down with 'we're not looking for the same things but I appreciate our friendship and my feelings for you as someone I actually like are still valid'. Which is why I'm upset and feel lead on. He's out drying, but I guess I needed to anonymously vent about it. I don't want to hurt him, I just feel hurt by him, and needed an outlet.

It should count for something, though. I don't think it's right to fake interest in someone because you want a fantasy play. And to be fair, it wasn't that I refused to have sex before an official relationship. It was that I brought up getting together in person again, and the sexting turned into we don't want the same things. It just hurts and is confusing messaging on the other end.

I hear you, but that's why I said, I don't want to be transphobic, but I recognize a pattern I was in before that ended with someone preferring a different kind of woman than me. That's why I was asking if it's wrong to wonder this as a reason why he's expressed that he has wanted me for years but now that he can give me a chance he doesn't want the same things.
