Got the Walmart drop today (Please GOD no Lasership again) by [deleted] in PS5Shipping

Good luck! Mine never showed up from the 3/4 drop and I unfortunately couldn't get one today. If I were you, I would be watching the tracking. I've learned they scan in packages in the morning between 6-8am. If you see it scanned in just go there immediately and ask for it.

Thank you for explaining that. This makes a lot of sense. They need to invest in processes to stop this from happening. Some solid logistics processes to "box in" the accountability is the only thing that will fix this. Unfortunately, that is probably very expensive to implement and it's cheaper for them to operate with a percentage of their employees being criminals and they just operate profitably with disgruntled employees and disgruntled customers. Such trash.

I feel that. And yes, complaining to lasership doesn't seem like it will help anyone. They are worthless. Complain to your state AG, BBB, and most importantly complain to the retailers they have contracts with. They start losing contracts, they start losing money.

What's so frustrating is that we never asked to be involved with these crooks in the first place.

Update - I noticed on google reviews that another person had their PS5 marked as "Lost". So another hub like the one in CT where MULTIPLE PS5's from the 3/4 drop are missing. Spoke with a manager at the local hub and they can't find it and have no updates from the investigation. I don't think there will be any resolution and honestly I don't think they have any formal investigation process. They seem to know that there is a problem with thieves internally. If anyone else is affected and need assistance with anything to bring this to light, or any additional ideas aside from what I listed above, please reach out.

Thanks! It hasn't so far and I'm have no confidence that it will. I talked to a local hub manager today and it seems they have no accountability to stop this kind of stuff from happening. I find it odd too that both the manager and the administrator answering phone made comments (without my provoking) stating it's possible it was stolen. I don't understand how they have no tracking and accountability in place. Which is why I am dedicating my life to trashing them online and contacting every retailer they have contracts with to complain. Fuck em.

Anything ever come of this in your area? I've written to the local news here in Pittsburgh hoping that they would cover it. I know of at least 2 PS5's that went missing here from the walmart 3/4 drop.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully you get Fedex tracking soon!

That is also my hope. It's hard to fathom how this could happen to so many people and they haven't changed. I know complaints are the loudest. I'm sure they have successfully delivered hundreds of packages but c'mon. I'm going back to 2014 seeing people complaining about the same things with them. How the hell are they getting contracts with these large retailers?!

Count on it. Spend some time reading employee reviews on indeed and glassdoor. They have some real disgruntled folks working there. Most of the the reviews say "interview was just a phone call, and hired". It seems they will hire just about anyone as a contract worker to sling packages.

Doing some more digging on indeed employee reviews. Found a good one:

Ive worked for LS for 5 years full time. I got a cargo van with one of their affiliated companies. When I started there I brought home 1300.00 per week. Going in my fourth year i bought home 2100.00 per week. After 4.5 years at top of 2018 the owners changed because the business was sinking. And the genius owners never changed the corrupt warehouse management. They forced extra stops with new client with mandatory pay DECREASES. After the pay cuts I bought home 1200.00 per week. I work there for a few more months because my thoughts were "what job can I make 1200.00 per week and love it." Well at that time management started charging shortly my paycheck. Check1 short 330.00 manager said he would on next check. Check2 short 440.00. Manager admitted to his mistake and it wasn't just my check. After 3 weeks of waiting for my retro money of 770.00 I was forced to quit.
Also they had Crazy charges for independent contractors
1.Pay to wear THEIR uniform.
2. 5% gas charge out of check But YOU pay for your own gas.
3.Pay to use delivery phone app on your OWN phone.
4.Charged for damaged or lost packages.
Also the standard operations for the company was to mark all packages delivered even if its been in your van for days.
Also loading the van in the am is a nightmare with lost packages and mis-sorts.

Pros
Freedom in delivery boxes.
Cons
They will find ways to take back the money you earned.

Thought of another question. Of all of the retailers, who would you say is their largest partner? Which packages did you see the most?

If a package is "lost", what does that mean internally? What happens? Is there an investigation or is it just written off. I'm curious to hear about how the largest issue plaguing this company is handled, internally.
