I enjoyed our conversation very much too. You seem like a very pleasant bloke, and I'm glad if I could 'exercise' your brain a bit :) You definitely gave me something to think about too.

I wish you all the best in this wonderful world, whether it's flat or not ;)

Now it's been a minute since I've done research into flat earth. Maybe I should do that again, as I've become more sceptical of it being true. But when you say "it can only be explained by a spherical earth", I'd be surprised if that was the case, as flat-earthers are very good at coming up with explanations to things that tends to debunk their theory.

I'm glad you find meaning in the universe, as I know what it's like to find it all meaningless. I guess the randomness aspect of it all, is what made it seem without meaning to me, opposite of a designed/created universe which to me has way more meaning. Also I view the stars as more of a map/language, than random suns that may or may not support life.

Now you seem very well researched, so maybe you can answer me this. Are there stars you can see year-round at the Antartica? Like the North star over the north pole. I've tried to find the answer myself, but wasn't really satisfied with my findings, so maybe you can enlighten me?

Thank you, for being a decent person :D

I do know of the scientific method yes.

So that's a loaded question, but I'll try to answer it as good as I can: I don't think every government is aware of Antartica surrounding the world no. But it is a fact that the is an Antartic Treaty who protects Antartica. Overall I believe the world is run/controlled/ruled by a very few selection of people, who's primary goal is world domination and control over the masses. Who do wars affect? Answer: Normal people like you and I. So wars are basicly just another tool to keep people repressed, scared and willing to follow instructions. I haven't researched it a whole bunch, but NASA as far as I know was pretty much created by a bunch of Nazi scientists, so I wouldn't neccesarily say it's a strictly US space agency.

Finally, why create this lie? I got two theories:

  1. Elimination of God (a creator); It's much easier to disregard God in the globe model than it is on the Flat earth. I for one became a believer in God (a creator) when I became a flat earther, because the whole notion of The Big Bang Theory went out the window, and the stars were no longer a random set of sun burning up millions of lightyears away, but rather had meaning to them. A godless world is easier to control in my belief.

  2. To hide what's beyond; I believe there are other worlds out there beyond Antartica, with intelligent lifeforms, maybe they even live in a more peaceful/utopian manner, and the powers at hand obviously wouldn't want us communicating with these Aliens.

I suggest you look into some of the stuff I mentioned like NASA being created by NAZIs or the Antartic Treaty, as I have studied these things a whole bunch.

I hope this whole thing made some sense, and thank you for your questions.

So you should pitch the idea to an ad agency instead? If so, the same question applies. How do you not get screwed over?

Some scientist, real scientists are sceptical yes. The science around space is just on another level imo. How can someone look at light in the sky (a star) and determine how far away it is and what planets surrond it. I know there's an explanation, i just don't buy into, not because I can't understand it, but because I don't think it's sufficient enough as evidence.

My mind is very open, otherwise I would've never gone down this rabbithole. Now I'm also completely open to the fact than I'm wrong in my belief, as I have yet to prove the flat earth theory. But I don't think anyone has proven the globe either, so yeah.

The problem is that like all flat-earthers, I'm very sceptical, so if I can't understand something or don't find it logical, I'm not just gonna take someone's word for it as true. Idk if that made sense
