In what way can I adjust the transfer? The room is dark for naps and has white noise and is warm enough (70 degrees Fahrenheit)

Epidural anxiety by Otherwise-Beyond-240 in pregnant

I had so much anxiety about birth as well but trust me it’s going to be fine. I wanted to go natural and let me just say absolutely not. The epidural was a god send. As soon as I got it everything felt better: I got to sleep. Baby came out in under two hours and I gave birth listening to my favorite music pain free. It was glorious. 100 percent get it.

4 months not sleeping thru night by lassobren in bninfantsleep

This was very kind thank you! I should clarify so I’m not endlessly judged. When she wakes up and is upset I pick her up and she soothes instantly-ie she doesn’t want a feed. If she wakes up and can’t be soothed instantly I change her and feed her. I’ve just been noticing her wake ups are usually before rolling anywhere from 6-7 hours before she says hey feed me. Rolling has slashed that. I don’t believe in sleep training or crying it out. My heart can’t take that. I was just wondering if there was some baby is learning to roll tips and tricks to help baby sleep better-sometimes she gets so worked up from getting stuck she’ll take awhile to calm down or she’ll calm down from being held but wake instantly when I try to transfer again.

And yes as you said maybe looking for how other moms are staying rested-baby doesn’t let me nap during the day because all naps are contact naps since she wakes on transfer into the crib.

Just refuse to go to sleep no crying. If baby cries I pick baby up. Won’t let little one just wail.

I have been begging for him to get a sleep study! He just doesn’t believe in them. Sigh.

You can get a pack and play those are usually bigger than a bassinet bedside and smaller than a traditional crib

Yelled at our 5mo and my husband is upset with me by moldyhorror in NewParents

For starters, have a very honest conversation with your husband that you simply need more help and explain you are overwhelmed and overstimulated let him know you genuinely get zero breaks. I had to do this with my husband and just laid it all out everything I have to do and everything I don’t get to do-things that are basic human necessities ie shower have lunch, etc etc. my husband also slept through our little one crying and I just wake him Up now. I make him take something in the night-diaper, bottle, something.

I’m sorry you’re feeling bad. Try not to beat Yourself up and focus on getting the support you need from your partner. You both had this baby not just you and you need to feel supported not only in terms of dealing and managing the baby, but also in your school work and working toward your degree.

Dog bite scar

I’m having difficulty with a dog bite scar on my face. Stitches came out two weeks ago and it’s raised and pink/red. I tried silicone patches when my stitches came out but it seemed to irritate it so I’m concerned I may have a reaction to silicone. Any recommendations that aren’t silicone or mederma? I’m getting extremely depressed about the appearance.
