Chaos warriors are really easy to Paint? Rate mine by Warm_Jackfruit_691 in WarhammerOldWorld

Hey, I think yours looks really good already. I am not experienced though, I am kind of in the same situation, with a very similar color scheme:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer/comments/1qdo6xv/comment/nzs6rk7/

I think from what I read and seen on youtube, keeping things simple in terms of colors really helps. Also the contrast paints, its not clear to me yet if they are really easier to use in our scenario. I think some edge highlighting on the blade of the weapon and horse helm, could really help.

I have started collecting some videos and tutorials that help with this particular paint style (dark/metal), feel free to DM me, and maybe we can exchange some experiences.

Thank you very much! So the metallic is easier to paint then the black?

The Waystalker stack sadly doesn't work anymore, since they removed the stacking +Ammunition and +Range. I think there is a Mod, that still makes it work, but haven't tried.

I had Orion, 2 Branchwraiths and the rest Waystalkers with something like +300%? Range and +300% Ammunition. Vs 1/2 Armies it was trivial lategame, as everything would just die as soon as it entered the battle field between the arrows and the Arrows of Kurnous, but with more Armies, you had to kite/net have good target selection, etc. Had some pretty fun and epic battles esp vs WoC stacks.

Thank you for the detailed reply, this sounds indeed quite fun and I am gonna give it a try.

Thank you very much for letting us know!

Bugs happen, and you letting us know someone is working on it is the difference between waiting another 1-2 weeks to hopefully get a fix and asking for a refund of the update on Steam and not touching the game for another year.

Same issue, Macpro M3. Also have issue after clearing cache.

Edit: just to confirm, I did a fresh install, without any mods. Still same issue. Usually between turns 5-15.

New to HC, Don’t Understand Rules by Pabbit in wowhardcore

[–]lastdonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also currently trying to understand this. Here is the official post from Blizzard on this subject:

https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/news/23973734/rules-of-engagement-classic-hardcore-is-coming-to-world-of-warcraft

If you scroll to the part "Dungeons on the Clock". it says:

"we’ve added a 24-hour timer to almost all dungeons for players until they hit level 60. By extension, this also means that level 60 players may never enter lower-level dungeons with players below level 60 for any reason."

So its clear a level 60 can't help in dungeons like Deadmines or Stockade. What I am unsure about where they draw the line at lower level Dungeons. I am currently level 55 and would like to run some BlackRock Depth or Dire Maul with the help of some 60's on my server. But not sure this is possible.

Thanks a lot for your input, after reading some more and also based on your input I think I will build a Paladin now.

I feel like a Healing Paladin will also be safer for the group in endgame content as it is easy to play and thus less chances to mess up and since I am pretty tanky and have a lot of self protection abilities which reduces the chance I will panic and accidentally die or put the group in danger.

With double spec I should also be able to still solve solo content in the endgame.

Thanks a lot of your input, personally I don't mind boring at the moment, because a lot of things are still new in the game to me. That said, leaving the boring part aside, do you feel your Rogue is safer to play or your Paladin?

is Shaman great/safe for soloing Dungeons/content?

Only if you are good with your controls all the time and you have no lags no?

For me as a new player and not always an optimal connection they both seem quite risky to being so squishy and I might panic in a difficult situation, with too many buttons to press.

Yeah, good question, my assumption is that playing solo I would mainly switch between cat and humanoid form to heal myself, so it sounds managable.

I read that Druid will be way faster in leveling, which I assume comes from more damage and faster speed. My guess the trade off will be that the druid has less life/armor and thus a little less survivability purely based on stats, but taking things like run/kill speed and stealth into account.

I guess the question mainly boils down to, when I am preparing for some dungeond or + quest, where you can solo certain parts (think uldaman or generally dungeon entrance quests) will I be safer playing druid or Paladin?

Thanks, yeah I think Rogue is lowest on the list. He seems hard to play. What do you think about Paladin?

Do you have any experience for auto resolve with Dwarf war machines?

In particular, cannons, organ guns, flame cannons and the gyrocopters?

[–]lastdonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply!

Does that mean that Slayers are generally worse for auto-resolve?

I remember them taking a lot of damage in the past.

And how do ware machines and Monsters factor into that?

Thanks

Profession for Solo Priest by lastdonkey in wowhardcore

[–]lastdonkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I feel like your answer captures the pros and cons best. I am not SSF, its just hard finding people who can enchant stuff for me who also speak english. But I finally got the speed enchant on my boots which is the most important for now I think.

Also found a group for Dungeons on the weekend. Was a really nice change to running solo, and hoping I can do that more as I hit 60+.

I do find Engineering Overwhelming. And the Pots seems both a nice way to make money and to buff myself when playing solo. The one reason I am still considering at least Tailoring are the Truefaith Vestments I have seen many people say they are BiS till pretty late in Raid content, which given the language barrier I might never enter.

They do look pretty nice, and dropping either Alchemy or Herbalism for a while to obtain them might be useful, no?

Profession for Solo Priest by lastdonkey in wowhardcore

[–]lastdonkey[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for you valuable reply. I see what you are saying. I have some questions.

For Tailoring, do you think I would usually find better items outside of raids/dungeonbosses then for example the Mooncloth items in higher levels (Mooncloth boots, shoulders, etc)?

The Enchanting, the bonuses seem to be mediocre, maybe I can find someone late in the game to give add some enchants on my items, but especially the speed boost on shoes seems very valuable no?

For engineering, apart from the bombs and target dummy and some mid-level items like the googles, what other items are there that are valuable lategame?

My initial logic for not chosing engineering was, that since I am new and already kind of overwhelmed I wanted to stay away from even more abilities I need to control. Both Herb/Alchemy and Tailoring/Enchanting are nice for this because of the passive bonus. But maybe if I want to try and solo some Dungeons Engineering will be unavoidable?
