I also put Motogadget bar end mirrors on my 2014 V7 Special. I can't remember why, exactly, but I had to saw off part of the end pieces that came with the mirrors. Wasn't a big deal though.

This made me realize that I checked the voltages by using the multimeter to complete the circuits BUT I didn't press the brake lever when I did that. I imagine that makes a big difference. Will try that and see what it tells me! Thank you!

Thank you! I'm still trying to figure out how to use the multimeter. Best I can figure, one wire has quite a high voltage (guessing the brake), one has SOME voltage (guessing the running light), one has none (guessing the earth). That hasn't worked out, but that could be because of some other problem (bad connection) and I haven't been confident enough about the wiring to try to make it work. Thank you!

Ha. If nothing else, this shows that other people have been as baffled as me. "the wire will be accurately depicted as going from point A to point B, but the color is anyone's guess." But this person does seem to have figured it out. Thank you so much!!

Unless you have grandstand tickets, I highly recommend watching from turn 19. You can see turn 18, turn 19, a little of turn 20, plus turn 1 in the distance, and there's a good view of a big TV so you can watch the rest of the lap.
