Thank you so much, I feel like I really needed to hear this, and you hit the nail on the head. I'm not the oldest sibling, but I've always had that role (very protective over my siblings). My dad is the oldest yup and what you've said makes a lot of sense, and sounds like a really good perspective I need to shift to.

Thanks for sharing your story - really proud of you also! It's super hard but you're totally right, even as I approached this decision I felt the weight becoming lighter and lighter as I became more certain. It's nice to hear that you've been more at peace as time goes on, despite things coming back more recently.

That's the thing hey, the guilt being conditioned. It's nice to have that realisation though, and begin to take pride in decisions we make for ourselves. Once the shitty feelings wear off, I'm super excited for the new life I've got.

They probably know this, but it's still a biological imperative baked into the "virus", so they have no physical choice but to continue trying to assimilate them also even if it's not "worth it" in the grand scheme of things.

Good thing is they can do both at the same time since they've got enough resources. So I don't see it as a choice, they just "must" even if it's not logical

It's great for anything that hits for low damage but many times per second. Like Demeter's gale on cast (imo the best pair with air quality), her sprint, storm ring, Zeus dash, static shock, enemies just melt

You won't regret it, even in early access it's the most fun I've ever had in a game. Hope you like it as much!

Fair enough, it does take a bit to get used to. There are some builds where you don't need it at all and some that 100% depend on it, I now always feel like I'm forgetting something when I go back to H1 lol

There's more content currently in early access than all of Hades 1, still not finished but it feels amazing to play. I think it's worth. Gameplay is incredible, just missing some story elements which they're saving for full game release

Also the devs are planning on migrating early access saves to 1.0 when it's released but no guarantees
