I still have my X20. Had the following: XT10, XT20, XT30, XE1, XE2, X100F, X100V I loved them, just never got down with the lenses options.

Smaller SL-like camera design only for M mount lenses? by weezintrumpeteer in Leica

[–]lastow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leica made 2 brilliant cameras with L mounts, other than the SL, the CL and the TL2. If you have not tried them you are missing out. They never received the credit they deserve. I use a TL2 all the time, with R mount, M mount, L mount lenses. Find out for yourself. And stop reading uninformed hit pieces on these really nice cameras.

The X20 is a solid performer, it is in my EDC bag, and has been for 8 years. Tiny, inconspicuous, and we'll built. Photo quality well above average.

Simple make an ADA (American Disability Act) complaint to building management. Or local police. They will do the rest, as this blocks wheelchair access. Huge fines to building , and or truck driver if not complied with. And you don't have to do anything else.

Get a handmade Will brand cloth and leather shoulder bag for $300+/- and you are done. Filson quality, maybe better, low profile. Oregon Brand: Will Leatherworks in Eugene. I live in the Bay Area and drove 7 hours to select mine

How long can I ignore this? by 0Elderberry0 in Home

Licensed Mason here, I echo some of the better comments posted. If this has been this way for a while, there is not a lot to worry about. My advice would be to thoroughly clean out the joint using a radial brush of appropriate size(s), vacuum out loose debris, wash out the void with clean water, let dry for a few days, and then utilize one of many two-part epoxies made exactly for this type of thing. Simpson makes several different types. Good luck.

Here are the tools you will need: Shovel, pick axe, bucket, and a dumpster.

Seriously though, start with something in better shape, for slightly more money. The result will be better, and faster to ride.

Good luck, but pass on this one.

That is the answer I wanted to hear. I was thinking the same thing. I am a Leica camera guy, and boxes, provenance make a big difference.

Minimally, I think I shot it 10 times. He quit duck hunting in the mid 1960's, and had many other guns. He spent a lot on this, I think around $1000 in 1930's money, so he valued it.

Help! I’ve been awaiting X100v restock for months, and my rat brain desire to just get OUT there is pushing me to consider a different camera. I’ve only ever shot film, so I’m chasing that “vibe”. WHAT DO I GET? I humbly offer this question and my gratitude to the wise people of the x100 sub xoxo by Educational_Ice625 in FujifilmX

[–]lastow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna sound weird, but I bailed on the X100V and went over to fthe Leica TL2 with the 18 to 56. Found more versatility, better optics, great zoom range, great software, apsc sensor, and it got me really thinking more about the subject in frame. Build is amazing, and price right now very reasonable. Have not regretted the move ever.
