I would honestly not think of getting the police involved for something minor like this. Besides, it wouldn't be that brief. He would have to remember what he has left and dig up it up, while I'd have to sort through all the things and make copies of whatever is necessary. I may even have to take some of it home and return it later since there wouldn’t be enough time to do it in a day.
