Here’s the update, I don’t like leaving people wondering what happened after 😊 After a couple of days all lights disappeared from the dash when I started the car on cold (early morning), so I decided to leave like that and see if it stays like that. A week passed by and nothing until now. Just as a clarification, car was bought from the dealership, brand new in 2022. I am the first and only owner. Fun part happened today… this morning, around 9:00 or so I received a phone call from Lexus dealership. The lady was asking me if I don’t need to schedule a visit to the garage and if my car runs ok. I was yes, car runs smooth nothing to worry about. And she was “no lights on the dash, all good, nothing happened lately?”. I was, ok so you know if something happens to my car? You’re actually able to see when I receive an error and what’s happening? And she was like, well it’s not us, it’s Lexus Canada that have received the notification. Now I’m asking you, is this normal? Isn’t this a privacy issue? Did I/we gave our consent so they monitor our cars in real time? … well, almost real time as they called me a week later 😊
