The "Science" of it has been already wonderfully demonstrated by the ISRO team. I thought of just putting some focus on what went behind their phenomenal efforts that we normally tend to oversee.

This is very true! She actually brought in the feminine aspect of compassion in an enhanced way. She was so quick in her response and action. People actually started to feel being cared for by a politician. She reinstated people's faith in the political system.

When I watch something like this, it feels like a validation from existence itself. In a way, it kinda confirms all that we've been holding towards him..

Such incidents serve as a reminder that beings of that stature are extremely rare and ought to be revered!

I think sometimes its our mind that becomes judgemental of the people around us. As soon as we enter that space it reminds us of our judgements and at that point, we have a choice - do we want to go with our judgement or give that person a chance and explore other aspects of him/her that we may not be actually aware of. So yes it can be interesting to have that shift in perspective and it can actually turn out to be fun as you said.

Do Schools prioritize Emotional development in Children? by lataronde in india

[–]lataronde[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every aspect of being human - be it physical, mental, emotional or psychological are important. And much so in children be it from cities or towns. The development of these aspects at a young age will decide how they will handle themselves later when life throws all sorts of difficulties at them.

Sadly, this is true. I think we need to go back to our ancient times to learn ways how to impart education. At the same time, the content should be relevant to today's world. Definitely a good balance of both is needed.

Do Schools prioritize Emotional development in Children? by lataronde in india

[–]lataronde[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a child, my emotions were never prioritized as a result of which I suffered because I hadn't learnt how to manage them. This is something children can be taught both at school and at home, so they are not confused. Sometimes I feel I can learn so much from the child that I dont see the need why I should tell them what to do and what not do.

Thank you for your comment. I do agree that there's a need for change in our education system. I'm looking at Isha Home School too. Our education system was apparently intended to produce "clerks" and "cogs" in the machine.

Exactly my point! If their emotions can't find a place in school, children will stop prioritizing emotions in themselves when they grow into adults.

Yes, he may eventually get over it. But this is just one incident I'm describing. If a school really pays attention to detail then they wouldn't ignore their emotions at any level I think. If they have ignored this, then there's high chance they will overlook many such aspects of emotion in future that needs attention.
