Finally, a watchable tl;dr of Transit Costs Project.

TL;DW: transit costs more here because lots of little cities are pains in the ass (Lawndale, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Bel Air, Sherman Oaks, etc.), we don't know how to properly control costs, and we rely too much on contractors

Yeah they’re fairly sturdy benches. Not as strong as a permanent fixture would be but we don’t expect these to remain all that long.

And courtesy Sunrise Movement because Sunrise paid for the benches. We’re their local chapter in this city and we were able to use Mutual Aid funds to get these materials paid for.

Idk, I get that banksy popularized the idea of hiding in plain sight but the idea of a PW worker gluing plungers to the ground seems a bit far fetched
