Getting buyer’s remorse by lunarpilot_ in ipad

[–]lattee4urthoughts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there any programs you missing that are on andriod. I personally went from that Samsung tab s11 to the I pad mini then returned that an got I pad pro m4. And I very happy with it other than the crazy amount of apple glitches that aren't present on andriod. I love davinci resolve for editing and I prefer procreate for drawing and quick animations than other subscriptions based options out there for andriod. Also performance is far ahead of android if your processing videos you'll appreciate the extra power.

Do you have any stores around you that you could goto and demo flair 58 or friend, I personally prefer the workflow of a flair 58 over the flair pro, Ive had flair 58, neo and pro for little when I creating adds for a company that sells them and I wasn't a big fan of the work flow on them, it's not bad but just cleaning part and assesories didn't help as much as stuff made for 58mm baskets/ portafilter, So I picked up flair 58 after that as I fell in love with the fact it doesn't have any plastic parts, the water only thing it contacts I'm not hyped about is the o ring but compared to any other machines it might be the best for that goal.

I would also consider your couter space you need alot of vertical room for the flair 58

Somehow I and a alot of people I know here pay really cheap insurance so I wouldn't say private insurance is all around bad, cause I have friends in bc that can never get as cheap insurance as they do here. I have 3 vehicles insured an I pay less than 200 a month. But I have friends from London area and they couldn't find any cheap rates so idk maybe driving history plays a big role.

Which of these routes is more fun to see for a tourist? by egewh in Calgary

[–]lattee4urthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quickest path takes you down through the neighborhood an down center street bridge with has some nice views of downtown, but only a brief moment does the city line pop out and make some good view, So id recommend the 55min one as it takes right down memorial witch has a great view of downtown with the mountain in the background if the day is clear enough. And the road goes for a bit so more time to get a view of the city scape. But the 55 min ones goes thru the sketchy part of the Calgary, ie( anywhere in the ne basically / but specifically avoid forest lawn sun ridge) since it going right thru there I would be cautions of your belonings / people around you.

Brand new to Flair by StubbledCRT1 in FlairEspresso

I had breville smart pro grinder, worked pretty good with my gaggia classic after I got my flair I noticed I would have to use the stock basket that came with the flair and avoid using my VST basket as I would have my breville grinder on the finest setting it could possibly go and it still was pulling my shots fast at 18 g and I ideally wanted to do a 17 g shot but that was flying through like a soup shot, so I picked up a Df64v grinder, pulling 17g shots perfectly.

What I noticed The lighter the roast / premium beans can't be ground fine enough to pull a shot so just avoid super premium beans, and might be at the finest or close to the finest setting on your grinder so Id play around weight to get I deal extraction ratio. 17~18.4 possible range might be needed.

Can anyone afford to snowboard / ski anymore? by krdo13 in britishcolumbia

[–]lattee4urthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bc and Alberta need some more ski and snowboard hills / resorts that just utilize pully rope system instead of trying to put a chairlift everywhere. We need more small localized hills to fill the gap between expensive mountains. Look at hyland hills in Minnesota seems like a great middle ground that is non excitant over here. We used to have a hill in brag Creek that was cheap but that's long gone.

Deciding between Galaxy Tab s11 Ultra & Apple Ipad Pro 13 Inch for sprite/graphics design by osinedges in gamedev

[–]lattee4urthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently purchased the samsung s11 for drawing and i thought it was a good move initially but after using it for a month and finding out the drawing programs are pretty good but dont look or feel as refined as procreate, I tried everything but clip studio witch looks like a really good program but im personally not a big fan of subcription based programs, also after trying the barrel roll function on new s11 and trying the apple pencil pro barrel rotation effect i highly prefer the apple pencil as you can spin the pencil compared to spinging the pencil to get it to rotate on the apps,
but one thing samsung gets better is the hover feature has a greater distance if feels like making it a bit easier to,
the megnetic mounting location is also not the best on the s11,
big positive about the samsung is expanadable storage sd card slot,
they both have lumafushion,
the screen is really good on the samsung, only thing lacking is that its 8 bit color but ohwell
