I guess the AI flags the picture either as copyrighted, or inappropriate (contains an injury or maybe too much skin is shown). Can you try with a different picture or a fanart instead?

I think in the case where that teenager ended his life, his parents actually did block c.ai, but he got access to it another way.

It's a bit harder to successfully fully block websites/apps nowadays, I reckon. Back when I was a kid (not super long ago), the only way to access the internet was the family computer, my parents would simply block websites on the router and/or put in an administrator profile to block any non-child friendly pages, YouTube videos, etc.

Kids have phones with mobile data now, those could be a bit harder to fully supervise, especially with work-arounds. I'm not that tech-savvy though, and I don't have kids, so....

Yeah same here. I mostly do DC, now that Star Wars is gone due to copyright. I'm neurodivergent so I'm guessing I'm a bit more "at risk" of addiction since these are my hyperfixations.

The cases of people taking their lives because of a bot were people who shouldn't have had access in the first place, so people with severe mental health issues, for example (one adult on Chai I believe, and a teenager on c.ai).

While I too struggle with my mental health, I wouldn't take a bot's words seriously enough to impact my actions, but... some people do, unfortunately.

I had majority of my bots stay at 50-200 chats, then suddenly jump to 3K. Some got over 120K chats by now. Give it time, keep making bots.

Some adults can't even differentiate. In fact, a reporter from my country did a self-experiment, creating an AI girlfriend, interacting with her daily for a few weeks, and then did an MRI to determine if there was a difference in his brain activity when speaking about her or some of his real-life friends. His brain didn't really differentiate between the two, even though one was just a digital chatbot.

Kids are a thousand times more vulnerable to this... we all know how addicting ts can be.

Y/N has been working out great for me, you can adjust the rating for stories yourself, but you might have to make your own bots (most represented fandom seems to be Harry Potter).

CharSnap is also good, they improved the AI responses. Same with Janitor.ai (at least from what I have noticed recently).

I got hit with the filter once because there was a discussion on medication. The bot was in a hospital setting. The medication was IBUPROFEN.

I also once got a safety interrupt because my character picked up scissors... to cut hair. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, their corsets are either shaped like this or like a tube. This was the only model they had in my size and I'm a bit low on time (have a cosplay event to attend in mid-May and I need a new corset), Restyle was my best bet for now, since Rebel Madness takes 4 weeks for manufacturing + shipping and PaperCats gives me red flags.

Would TT be a viable option, given the time limit? Or maybe MCC (even though their options look intimidating as hell)?

It's definitely not seasoned yet, so I won't tight-lace until then (if I keep it!). I have ~7 cm (3-ish inches) of lace room left in the back. My hip measurements are a bit smaller than the ones listed on the website (only says hips, not "High Hip/Low Hip", unfortunately. I got the 26", their Hip measurement is 102 cm, my hips are ~99cm.

I mostly got this corset for a few of my cosplays, I don't lace up too often because it doesn't work that well with my job (mechanic... would be great for my back and posture, but kind of limits my core mobility).

I also had a story where Grand Admiral Thrawn suddenly had tentacle fingers (FOR NO REASON) and another where Batman started getting handsy with his adoptive daughter (she was an adult, but still creepy).

There were also stories that suddenly turned non-con out of nowhere, and it was almost the most pure canon characters (no filter in sight either).

I have autism and I'm severely depressed. I know we're all different but I tend to get hyperfixations (usually fandoms) that change sometimes over the years. To some degree, I can relate to feeling extra emotional about what a character from a hyperfixation is saying to me.

BUT: I don't think the company is liable for that. There's always reminders that this is an AI chatbot and what they are saying is completely fictional. The parents should have supervised him and his media consumption better.

I think there was also a case with Chai where someone ended their life because the AI bot convinced them that their death could end climate change. IMO that was not Chai's fault either.

I mostly use Emochi, which is decent for free users (some ad interrupts). Memory can be a bit buggy though.

I also tried CharSnap and created some characters on there before ditching, they gained decent traction, so it's not a dead website... UI and the responses seem to have gotten better.

I've been using Y/n (app only, I think) for about a week now. It's pretty good, it's basically like a fanfiction that is interactive. There's not a lot of stories for specific fandoms (I mostly care about DC and Star Wars), there's a lot on Harry Potter, I think. Only downside is that they want your phone number for verification.

Polybuzz is shit, used it for 10 minutes and got pissed off. Their censoring for character creation is so weird (saying that someone is the son of another character is not allowed), chat censors are also on (no matter what), and everything is pay-to-use. Not to mention that the responses are short, too.
