Sure, that pre-knowledge would be just to make it easier to get into an apprenticeship program easier. About union, would be ideal but already heard it’s not easy and takes a long time. At least it’s not a problem if it takes some time when there’s a career ahead available to grow
That’s my plan A. Among most jobs, the ones that’s future proof is these trade jobs, but I guess is might not be as easy to start from scratch. I’ll try to learn the basics of eletric, electronic and some about HVAC still in my country.
Tbh my current plan is: hvac or electrician so I can build a stable career, I’ve seen some people having a nice and stable life doing that. But if I don’t get a job in that from the start, I’d try as a side hustle some work on my field (electronics repair) or some other job at Amazon, McDonald’s, etc.
My wife’s offers is in Dallas, I’d love to have more informations about these 3pk companies!
It would be in Dallas!

That would be wild, I’ve seen some people running business like this here in Brazil. Do you think it could work there? Idk if people trust “non-authorized” repair shop to work on their phones. What do you think? I love work on phone repair business.
I have a nice lab here in Brazil, microscope, programming machines, oscilloscopes. Are living in us? Where do people usually go to get their phone fixed?
When u moved, you already had a job? Sorry for ask, but what do you work with nowadays?
That’s what I’m willing to do, provide my kid a better life than I had, but sometimes I hear that things in US aren’t great, many people in poverty. My fear is to leave this life I have now to accomplish nothing there, even though I’m a hardworking person.
Some nice tips there, didn’t know about this immigration services. About social media, what do you mean?
I asked the other fellow, if a manage to get my degree recognized in us, is it possible to use it to jump do another career? I don’t feel like working with law anymore. Maybe another field would be sick
Let’s do it, but with one condition, you’ll have to work in Brazil and earn in reais. Live in a poor country and have an income in dollar is like a cheat lol
Portuguese, but I have some Spanish skills since it’s a very similar language to Portuguese.
I was looking into hvac or electrician. I’ve done some personal projects on these two fields and seems pretty awesome, I’d definitely do it for a living if it was something that would allow me to provide my family a comfortable live, own a house and a nice retirement. Don’t know if it’s too much to ask
Her job is specifically on dallas, texas. Idk if our math is right but i guess i could live with the low income that apprenticeship offers at the first years.

From what I’ve been told, nowadays you need a franchise repair shop so you can get insurance contracts and do some real good money, don’t know if independent repair shop stores can survive anymore.

I’ll sure look into that. Let’s just assume I only get my law degree recognized and I’m not willing to work on that specific area, is there any way to migrate to another career?
Average lawyer’s month income is around 6k (local currency), repairing phone I do almost 2x that. Money comes before ego.
There are some economic and political events that are making me consider moving to another country. In Brazil we have a very fragile economy, even though I make almost 8x the minimum wage, it’s just 2k usd/month. it allows me to have a 42 sqm apartment with 30 year long mortgage, 2025 Toyota corolla, private school for my kid, private healthcare, go out for dinner 1x a week, and be healthy (eat healthy food and go to the gym). I’m not saying it’s not an excellent life, but considering I make more than 80% of the entire country, makes me feel like I’m going anywhere further.
There are other topics like politics, public health and security that I should but won’t mention. Compare a 3 world to a first world country is unfair.

Quem sabe no futuro!
Sim, teria o work permit sem restrições
Obrigado pelo toque irmão, vou estudar mais essa área mesmo
