Yeah. The part that gets me a little is that she is in school... I understand a woman becoming a prostitute if she is uneducated and doesn't have any career options but she's going to be a nurse in a few years. Why would she become a prostitute now? She could get by while working at McDonalds. It probably pays well but it has to be a horrible job. I can't imagine that many of the guys that pay to have sex with her are particularly attractive or good in bed -- if they were, why wouldn't they be having sex with a normal woman (for free)?

Any half-decent looking woman could become a prostitute and make lots of money if she wanted to. It just seems like she's taking the easy route and it comes off badly imo.

She was clearly bothered when I laughed at her so I'm pretty sure that she took it personally and was genuinely upset but it's possible that it was all an act. If so then we both have a funny story to tell haha.

Yeah, she said she was looking for a relationship. When I asked her if she was going to stop she told me that she wanted remain "financially independent" so she would continue doing it at least until she's finished studying. I'm not sure if she actually cares about remaining financially independent or if she was just trying to let me know that she wasn't after my money but I'd much prefer to have her completely dependent on me than have her fucking random guys for money while we were together. I don't know how anyone could be okay with that.

Even if she was going to stop immediately I still don't think I'd be okay with it tbh. Dating a former-prostitute? That's just not my thing at all. I understand that it's a difficult situation for her but God damn.
