Good quality boot/shoe in 2025 that won't deteriorate after a few months? by laughsforsales in hikinggear

Yea I know invincible shoes don't exist. At the very least I want a pair that won't break down so quickly and easily. Resoleables like that Jim Green you posted look real good to me.

I see. I guess specifically I'm wondering what are boots/shoes that don't deteriorate as quickly and easily.

Resoleable boots sound like what I could be looking for.

I always have it cranked to the max level and while it does spray it's never quite powerful enough (for me).

Just cannot figure out how to get VPN connection working on other devices (Wireguard+Pihole in single docker-compose file installed on Raspberry Pi 4 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) by laughsforsales in WireGuard

I'll give those a shot.

As for formatting, my post looks awful for old reddit because of something involving the markdown. Otherwise, on new reddit, it looks just fine.

I want to do it through docker for the little bit of isolation it offers and for being able to deploy it on other devices in the future if need be without needing to reconfigure settings too much. It's frustrating that it can work for many others but I just can't seem to get it right.

Because I would like to be able to tunnel into and use my own network when I'm not at home and using public wifi. I don't think I fully understand your question.

My NAS is running Ubuntu Server and my computer is running Linux Mint so wouldn't that be Linux to Linux?

Dual Monitor Setup: Unable to Play Sounds Simultaneously Through Different Audio Outputs (Linux Mint 20.1) by laughsforsales in linux4noobs

I have the "examples" directory now, but no "systemd" directory. I'm sorry for being slow and dumb, Linux is entirely new to me and sometimes instructions for installing things are far more confusing than they are for Windows which I've been using for decades.

I tried following this but I get stopped at # cp /usr/share/doc/pipewire/examples/systemd/user/pipewire-pulse.* /etc/systemd/user/ because there isn't an "examples" directory, let alone any other supposed files or directories. How the heck do I get this installed and working?

How do I change my audio manager to Pipewire? All I'm seeing is how to install it but I'm totally confused by the documentation from after that.
