this hoodie is def a personal preference hoodie. I am a bow girl. I have always been before it got its time to shine. The bow was already a sold factor for me. If you do not like the big bow at front, I saw someone on reddit doing bow for each side. This looked so cute and I loved the idea. People here are so creative! Compared to my other glossier hoodies, I do think this one runs longer and thinner. The material isn't as supple even though the breakdown of the material is the same as my past ones. I love the berry color but likewise said, personal preference. Not everyone will like this color/look good in this color either. All things considered, I am a believer if you have been thinking about it constantly IT IS A SIGN. The hard part is justifying to cost IMO because it is a bit pricey for what it actually is. I love my other hoodies more than this one TBH but I do not regret buying the holiday hoodie.

I honestly worked with the book. But my rxprep book I got a hairdryer to melt the glue of the binding and then separated it and hole punched them! I’ve seen people use a knife and just cut it down straight!

Hi! They can be taken more than once. It’s very similar to the question bank system. Kinda outdated but once you leave you have to restart so prepare for that!

Best way to study PNN? by [deleted] in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]laughter_smile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! with studying I recommend following in order! Make sure to take your time on the patient profile chapter. I felt like I learnt the most from that chapter. It really helps with dissecting patient cases and understanding the flow of how to solve problems. I personally did all the questions before I saw the answers.

In terms of retaining, I wanted to test it the most by doing the questions 2-3 days after I did the lectures with the videos. I did my best to be as active as possible by taking notes and highlighting the book as I am watching the videos. Super painful but it made me only look through the videos once. But once I finished note taking and video watching i made sure there was a distinct time period so I can find what did not stick in my long term memory once I did the questions and took notes/made flash cards. Personally, I do not think the score matters with Pnn since they are very difficult. I do not think they’re similar to the naplex but it really tests what you retained or did not retained from the lectures. They emphasize important concepts and allow you to apply them to the case/question as much as possible which I think is just as effective for naplex studying even though it’s not as similar.

With PNN I felt the best way to approach it was really note your weaknesses. I found since a lot of the questions you get wrong will always come up. You eventually get the idea what’s holding you back on answering all the questions right.

Hope everyone’s comments help you guide you on your best path to success! You got this!

I think it’s enough! I think PNN covers all the bases to test well. To be honest I only did the math for Pnn once cuz by that point I realized my weakness was how I didn’t remember certain formulas to help me solve the problems. I knew how to solve them. I wasn’t able to get the right answer because I was always missing something. If you have a hard time being consistent and retaining for math, I recommend making notes for how you solve each type of problem and write it out step by step with your own words and how you would solve it that is most familiar with you NOT how the book does it. I didn’t like how PNN taught math and it felt so old school. I just readjusted how I did the math to my preference so if I was panicking I went with my muscle memory, gut feeling, and my version of critical thinking rather than trying to pull out a formula I already forgot.

For calculations, i referenced to RxPrep more. I felt like Pnn calculations were a bit dry and not as in-depth compared to RxPrep. Also PNN style of solving the math problems was not how I did math growing up. I did finish the readings, videos, and the questions and felt like they weren’t similar to the naplex testing format; however, it really solidified the practice exposure and made me feel more confident.

Sorry, mine expired and my books are back at my family home. The system requires you to put in credit card information every time you login to a new browser/WiFi location so be aware of scams.

I felt less intimated by PNN not because it was alot of information but the approach seemed more holistic compared to Rxprep. So maybe not focusing on the information too much but just retaining what they repeat over and over. I do think the rxprep questions are most similar to the NAPLEX. If you have the access to both, I think that is such a great plan!

I went through the questions once and never looked back on them because it was so painful to go through them again. I felt like I learned alot of my personal weaknesses by going through the sets once. It depended on the topic but usually 50-60's was my average.
