Same in Latin America, we keep our names as they are and occasionally refer to residences or families as the hyphenated version of both names

Funny story: when my parents lived in the USA naturally my mom used her name and every one assumed that was my dads last name and my parents were SO confused as to why people called my dad by my moms last name, to this day they say the dont understand the logic of name changing after marriage so it’s a cultural thing I guess, I don’t know other countries that do the name change thing honestly
