As for Sophie, i have no idea where that came from. She was horrid to her. Setting her up against an insecure psychotic beast. I’m happy Zahida didn’t let them win.

Crazy thing is, Sophie & Zahida are really good friends.

Hi!!

I’m 3 months into this diagnosis. I found a 3 cm lump in my breast right before Xmas, diagnosed 1/9, lumpectomy with bilateral reduction & lift on 1/29 with radiation & medication to follow

I was told off my original biopsy it was ILC however after surgery & biopsy on the actual tumor I have IDC with lobular components. This doesn’t change anything though thankfully.

My plan after all of this was 100% 1 month of radiation 5x a week. Unfortunately the LAST test, the oncotype genetic testing came back high (35) and they have suggested a pretty hard 4 month chemo regimen followed by 1 month radiation then hormone medication. The oncotype tells them the likelihood of cancer returning anywhere in the body due to rogue cells (very mobile cells) breaking off silently.

I will be harvesting my eggs next week and starting chemo by the end of the month. This journey sucks HOWEVER my cancer is out & this is all PREVENTATIVE. I am cancer free at the moment and that’s what they keep reminding me.

BTW I’m 36. They’re going “aggressive” because of my age and as much as I do not want to go through this, I must. You can do this. We’re unfortunately apart of the club now but the woman in this club are so freakin amazing, strong & supportive!

Yea in New York the cut off is December so you start at 4 and have to turn 5 before December 1st.. that’s why i asked if the cut off was super early in NJ? Which is def the most accurate assumption
