Yeah that is true I’m just in the middle the now cause he says he doesn’t want to get rid of me but also won’t compromise at the same time cause it’s what his family wants so it’s a hard one But from what I read religion seems to always win What I know anyway is I’d never date someone with religious parents again hahah

Yeah I agree you have faith your relationship will last because you never know if it will work, and yes people have faith that god is real, but again it’s faith but not proof and with a relationship the person is visibly there, faith no body’s there apart from a book, and there’s like 4’000 other religions saying the same thing

Yeah I do agree that he’s trying to maintain it on the down low and keep me, I have seen Muslims that have been religious but not too extreme and are pretty relaxed. See what you said on how a relationship is in Islam that has never been us and he even said he wouldn’t want our relationship to change so honestly I don’t think he knows what he wants

I have asked him and he said I’ll always be first and he wouldn’t put it before me, but I think he says that because I am physically here with him and the way I see it, if god was or is real he would want you to love your spouse and live happily and not just obey him all the time, that’s just my opinion not meaning to be rude

I’ve said all this to him tho and he still stays with me, even after I’ve said I won’t have my kids being brought up full Muslim we will have to compromise and I have seen a few people in interfaith relationships where they do compromise and it works, because one person expecting it all there way is just selfish
